We never liked the idea of contaminating the wand with yours or someone else’s bacteria and putting the wand back in the ‘uncontaminated’ gloss in the tube. We were thrilled to find the pen applicator, which helps to eliminate the cross contamination to the ‘good’ stuff in the tube! Just twist the barrel and apply with the brush end. Easy-peasy and safe!
